๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ This week, we got an important piece of information: the reported price for the 8,000 cbms ship built for Fratelli Cosulich (link) Interesting because it’s in line with other ships built in China and because it confirms a relatively stable market.

๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ Petronas has announced a supply agreement with China. Part of that volume might come from Canada in the future, but it surely opens the opportunity for an increase in small scale LNG shipments anyway. (link)

๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฝ Mexico prepares a tender process for a floating LNG plant and a pipeline (link, subscription), (link, in Spanish to the official tender document), (link, in Spanish, to the Linkedin announcement), (link, in Spanish, to the Google cache of the document in case server fails).

This is another project in Mexico, a country that seems committed to expanding rapidly with LNG projects all over the country, in many cases with the help of US companies that see the Mexican market as a natural extension of theirs.

๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡น A small celebration is needed after 250 Ship to Ship Transfers in Lithuania’s Independence FSRU. Because it’s necessary to remember how the industry is advancing steadily and without any major issues (link)

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช New Fortress Energy continues a very aggressive push to be present everywhere. This time, with a project for an FSRU in Ireland (link) Please note that the project includes a 120MW one-hour battery integrated and the goal is to help balance the renewables in the area. Fascinating!

๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ An interesting report titled “LNG Pricing and Market Opportunities in the Philippines” (link, pdf) brings some light the the country’s energy sector. Sponsored by US agencies but nevertheless, don’t miss it if you are interested in the Philippines energy sector, 39 pages of excellent information!!

๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บย The EU follows closely what its members are doing: “Percentage emission reductions compared with 2019 levels required by EU Member States to meet their emission reduction commitments for 2020-2029 and 2030 onward” (link)

๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Two Canadian small-scale LNG projects and a fleet of ISO containers are up for sale. A total of 225,000 MTPA. Interested? (link) Apparently the reason for the sale is the death of the founder (link)

๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ท LNG Bunkering in Turkey: and agreement that could quick off the market in the country (link) No details on how this will be done, but Sumitomo is involved.
